Vanderbilt University Programs for Talented Youth (PTY) provides accelerated academic coursework for gifted and academically advanced students in Kindergarten through grade 12. In this special preconference session you will learn about the impact of accelerated academic summer programs for gifted students. Then you will visit student classrooms to see programs in action. After an exciting time observing, you will share your classroom experience with colleagues and have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss logistical considerations for implementing your own programs.
