This presentation describes progress in the development of a teacher-deliverable, time- and cost-effective, multiple instrument process for identifying intellectually gifted children aged six to seven years. Rasch analysis is used to investigate and refine the validity and reliability measures of a teacher questionnaire, a parent questionnaire, and an above-level achievement assessment, including concurrent validity with the broad domains in CHC Theory, as measured by the WJ(IV) Tests of Cognitive Abilities. Cut scores are considered in relation to specificity and sensitivity, along with the "and," "or," and "mean" rules that can be applied to multiple instrument identification procedures.
