Enriching Challenge for Gifted Students

The Enriching Challenge project is a collaboration between Mid Sweden University, Harnosand Municipality, and Technichus Science Center in Sweden. The project offers after-school activities for gifted mathematics, science, and technology students in grades 4-8 at two pilot schools in Sweden. The project aims to study whether Science Centers' activities can contribute to gifted students' development and well-being. Results, so far, based on observations, show a great interest among the gifted students both in the activities and in socializing with like-minded friends. Results based on observations and interviews with students, teachers and parents will be presented at the conference.
