The 2Es and Their Gifted Peers Around the World: Comparative Data of Gifted Adults

It is important to understand the differences between gifted and twice exceptional, who are now adults, on their educational background, their incomes and how they describe themselves in terms of personal characteristics. Based on the findings of a study conducted by the Phoenix International Research Group (46 researchers from 25 countries) this session shares results from the “And When I Grew Up?” questionnaire taken by 1,044 Highly able/gifted (HA/GT) . HA/GT adults’ life experiences could yield important data for improving gifted education. This presentation highlights the differences between the twice exceptional and their gifted peers at different levels.
