Leveraging EdTech Tools to Personalise Learning Experiences in Science Classrooms

Gifted learners have diverse abilities and interests, yet often they tend to be treated uniformly, thus limiting their potential. Customised learning experiences are essential to address their unique strengths. To enable personalised science education, Chemistry educators in a school for Grades 7-10 high ability learners have incorporated pedagogical approaches with suitable EdTech tools. For example, design thinking framework has been combined with customised AI chatbot in open-ended performance tasks. Innovations like self-directed learning platforms further enhance personalisation. By integrating these tools and pedagogical strategies, educators have created tailored learning experiences that empower gifted learners to reach their full potential.
