Creativity and Consciousness in Gifted Education

The aim of this study is to discuss creativity and consciousness in the education of gifted children based on Vygotsky and Rudolf Steiner. The theme of consciousness accompanied Vygotsky throughout his life and is closely linked to the development of the creative potential of human beings in the movement of transforming the context and themselves. For Rudolf Steiner, the proposal of Waldorf Education is to develop consciousness and creativity through aesthetic education, which combines thinking, feeling and wanting. Giftedness can be understood as the result of the development of human individuality in a cultural and social context.
