Extracurricular Enrichment: The Perspective of a Specialized Educational Service Teacher

This work presents a synthesis of the experiences of a SES teacher in Brazil. It is an analysis of pedagogical practices in working with gifted students from her point of view. To understand her work, qualitative research was carried out using methodological resources including life history and content analysis of the interviews. Through analysis, it can be inferred that there is still resistance to innovation and the inclusion of gifted students, a situation likely caused by historical prejudices and ideological issues.
