Worldwide Community Conversation on Early Childhood Gifted Education

Worldwide, we know the importance of early childhood education. Early experiences matter! Identifying young, advanced learners for traditional gifted programs has historically relied on ability testing and parent or teacher referrals – often missing children with more diverse background experiences. In this session, we share the work that the Task Force on Early Childhood Gifted Education appointed by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) has been doing to explore ways to best serve all advanced young children. We also invite participants to engage in a community conversation to share their practices for identifying and serving advanced young learners.
