Gifted Education in Latin America

In 2024, a special supplement was developed for the Cogent Education Journal entitled, “Gifted Education in Latin America: Analyses from a Learning-Resource Perspective,” and dedicated to the gifted education in Latin American countries. In this issue, prestigious experts from each Latin American country analyzed their educational systems from a learning-resource perspective following the model of Dr. Albert Ziegler. On this occasion, the data collected in the different research studies from the countries of Chile (Dra. María Paz Gómez Arizaga), Uruguay (Dra. Susana Pérez Barrera), Paraguay (Dra. Alex Vuyk), Mexico (Dra. Dolores Valadez Sierra), and Argentina (Dra. Paula Irueste), will be presented in a discussion panel.
