Panel: Creativity in Gifted Education: The Perspective of Specialists from Czech Republic, Brazil, and the United States

Creativity has been the subject of many scientific studies, and many researchers and educators consider creativity to be an essential component of the education of gifted students. This session will feature panelists from the Czech Republic, Brazil, and the United States who will share key points about creativity and strategies to spark creativity. They have conducted research related to creativity and had an array of experiences working with gifted children and young people in a variety of settings. Nurturing creativity has implications for creating innovators as well as adults who are thinkers capable of complex problem solving.
