Talent Development of Three Socio-economically Disadvantaged Gifted Students

This study explores the talent development of gifted students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds through the life stories of three participants in the Bright Minds Program. Using a narrative interview method, the study examines their talent development processes, family environments, and educational experiences. Findings highlight the early emergence of abilities, the impact of psychosocial skills, the crucial role of teachers, and the significance of off-campus learning opportunities. The study emphasizes the need for targeted interventions, school support, and long-term guidance for disadvantaged gifted students.
