The Adaptation of the Dark Creativity Measure into Turkish

In Türkiye, there are few studies on dark and malevolent creativity. Akben et al. (2024) adapted The Malevolent Creativity Behavior Scale into Turkish, and Arkan et al. (2024) conducted a bibliometric analysis on the role of dark and malevolent creativity in education. This research aims to adapt the Dark Creativity Measure (Kapoor, 2015) into Turkish and examine its psychometric properties. To adapt and validate the Dark Creativity Measure into Turkish, we will follow three main steps. First, after obtaining ethical approval, the scale will be translated into Turkish and then back translated into the original language to ensure consistency. Second, the translated scale will be tested on bilingual university students to evaluate its reliability and validity. Third, following any necessary revisions based on the initial testing, the scale will be administered to students from different departments to further validate its applicability. Finally, the results will be presented at a congress.
