Designing Sustainable Learning Spaces for Gifted Kids

The proposed presentation is uniquely positioned at the intersection of the design theory and learning spaces for gifted kids. Space and resource optimization using design innovation can create rich, engaging, and aesthetically powerful learning spaces for gifted children. The learning ecosystem plays an important role in supporting children with advanced potential. The presentation delves into guiding principles and practices to create learning opportunities by curating physical infrastructure and shaping classroom/family ecologies. A few tools, practices, and designs that can be adapted by schools, families, or institutes working with gifted children will be discussed.
