Panel: An Interconnected Advocacy Agenda to Engage New Partners: Equity, Early Childhood, and Educator Preparation

Effective advocacy focuses on finding the "win-win”that extends beyond the group seeking change and engaging the involvement of a larger constituency. Equity, early childhood education, and educator preparation in gifted education are issues that both support each other and expand to broader advocacy and education communities. This presentation from three members of the NAGC Board of Directors will describe an advocacy initiative benchmarked by three interagency colloquia designed to break through the silo of gifted education and engage in productive dialogue with organizations and individuals from outside of gifted education.
