Supporting Twice-Exceptional Students: Finding Inspiration for Neuro-inclusive Learning in Library Spaces

Twice-exceptional (2e) students develop their strengths, interests, and talents more effectively and meaningfully when they feel a sense of belonging in their learning environment. To create a positive environment for the asynchronous learning needs of 2e students, safe space, brave space, and accountable space theories will be introduced and explored, focusing on how these theories have been developed in library spaces. Educators will learn how space theory supports individual identity in the classroom and builds an independent and engaging learning experience for their 2e students.
