Panel: Brazilian Universities and Gifted Education: Challenges and Perspectives

Higher Education Institutions play a crucial role in the inclusion and development of gifted students' potential. This experience report presents the Teaching, Research, and Extension initiatives of four Brazilian universities (UNESP, UFSCar, UFSM, and UEA), addressing challenges and perspectives in serving this population. Notable initiatives include teacher training programs, student support services, and extension projects that help redefine exclusionary conceptions and promote inclusive policies. By sharing these experiences, the aim is to broaden the discussion on giftedness in Brazil and strengthen educational practices that value the multiple dimensions of human potential.
