Gifted Women Identity Construction: High Five
This presentation intends to analyze the female participants’ answers to the study developed by the Phoenix International Research Group (PIRG) under the light of the Five-Stage Construction of Gifted Identity (Pérez-Barrera, 2008). The qualitative study was developed using the content analysis technique (Bardin, 2016) in order to understand some particular results arising from the quantitative data obtained from the answers of 657 women from 40 different countries, which seems to be contradictory, but could be aligned with the five-stage construction of gifted identity.
