An Analysis of the Perceptions of College Professors Regarding College and Community Resources Appropriate for Gifted Students

Partnerships between elementary and secondary school educators and College and University professors can lead to a cornucopia of resources for gifted students offered by colleges and universities highlighting what is available in the community. Surveys and interviews of college professors yielded numerous examples of resources which are readily available on college campuses. Various support structures, mentorship opportunities, and counseling services will be shared during this presentation. Professors, as primary academic mentors, play a crucial role in connecting gifted and talented students with these resources.
