Revisiting the Williams Cube Using AI to Develop Lesson Plans for Creativity Behaviors

After more than 50 years, renewed interest in Frank William's Cube model demonstrates the enduring value of evidence-based classroom practices. In the 1960s, Williams (1966, 1968) incorporated core curricula, teacher behaviors, and student behaviors dimensions to encourage creative behaviors in both teachers and students. His National Schools Project trained teachers to recognize creative students and use preferred teaching strategies as a systematic approach based on the cube’s three dimensions. Just as Williams examined emerging technologies to enhance creative teaching and learning, this session implements AI to develop lesson plans using the Williams Cube dimensions of creative behaviors in P-12 classrooms.
