The Impact of Questioning on the Learning Processes of Gifted and Talented Pupils
The report aims to highlight the impact of questioning on the learning processes of gifted pupils by providing useful pointers in daily practice. Better awareness in the use of questioning and the development of appropriate questioning competence respond to a personalization of teaching and fosters motivational, cognitive and meta-cognitive aspects. In particular: - the activation and orientation of thinking, the retrieval of prior knowledge/skills, the control of procedures,reflection on the process thus overcoming the purely intuitive attitude, the verification of results,the identification of errors, the formulation of strategies, the awareness of less efficiency and effectiveness in some areas
