Accelerated Learning for Gifted Students: A Proven Model from Collège de Champigny

Collège de Champigny has developed an innovative program, the Accelerated Learning Program, enabling high-potential students to complete the first three years of secondary education (Grades 7, 8, and 9) in just two years. Based on proven scientific recommendations, this program combines curriculum acceleration, gifted student grouping, and content compression—avoiding the drawbacks of traditional grade-skipping. This structured group-based acceleration has yielded impressive results, enhancing student motivation and academic performance through a stimulating learning environment. This session will explore the program’s foundational principles, pedagogical strategies, student selection process, and its positive impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
