INGENIOUS: A Response to University Students with High Abilities

In response to the lack of educational support for university students with high abilities, in 2023 the INGENIOUS program was created, an innovative and unique program with the purpose of contributing to the development of their potential through extracurricular enrichment experiences that promote the development of their talents and personal wellbeing. This program is structured in three phases: 1) identification; 2) teacher training; and 3) mentoring development, with specific objectives and evaluation mechanisms for each phase. Positive results are reported regarding the achievements and satisfaction of its participants (students, teachers and mentors).
