A Mentoring Program for Enhancing Resilience and Career Pursuits Among Gifted Adolescents

This study examines the effects of a self-understanding-based mentoring program designed to enhance resilience and support career decision-making among gifted adolescents. The program aimed to improve participants' self-awareness, resilience, and career planning by addressing key challenges such as peer competition and goal-setting. Data were collected from 28 participants (21 mentees, 7 mentors) through pre- and post-program surveys, 126 mentoring logs, and focus group interviews (FGIs). Results indicated significant improvements across psychological and career-related domains, providing evidence-based insights to advance mentoring practices in gifted education and promote long-term academic and personal growth.
