2013 World Conference Scholarship Deadline Extended

The WCGTC World Council Scholarship Fund will provide six (6) paid registrations for Graduate Students and Educators to attend the 2013 World Conference in Louisville, Kentucky USA. Scholarship applicants must be members of the World Council by the time of application and show evidence of need for support for the registration fees (each worth approximately $550 USD). (If joining the World Council is a financial hardship please notify the WCGTC to review your situation.) The students and educators who receive the scholarship registrations must pay their own transportation and accommodation to the World Conference in Louisville. Applicants must provide (a) information on the nature of their involvement in the field of gifted education, (b) the reasons why attending the conference is important to their work, and (c) a brief description of their need for financial assistance. All applicants must (a) complete the application form, including an email address, (b) provide their statement of need, and (b) enclose two letters of reference. Graduate Students and Educators from developing nations are especially encouraged to apply. Completed applications must be received by WCGTC Headquarters by March 1, 2013.
