The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC®) and Western Kentucky University have renewed an agreement for the WCGTC Headquarters to be hosted at WKU through December 31, 2030.
The WCGTC has been headquartered at WKU in Bowling Green, KY, since January 1, 2011.
Prof Anies Al-Hroub, WCGTC President, said: “This renewed agreement with WKU reflects a strong, strategic partnership grounded in shared values and a long-term vision to advance gifted and talented education globally. This renewed commitment provides institutional stability for the WCGTC, enabling us to plan, innovate, and expand our international impact with confidence.
Dr. Tyler Clark, WCGTC Executive Administrator and Assistant Director of Operations at The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU, commented: “WKU has long been a leader in gifted education, and the extended agreement to maintain Headquarters at WKU further positions us for international collaborations and demonstrates our commitment to serving gifted and talented students around the world.”
