This webinar will provide an opportunity to discuss gifted education in Latin American countries by (a) pointing out best practices in the identification of the highly able, especially those living under vulnerable conditions due to their socio-economic, gender, or ethnic-linguistic backgrounds, (b) presenting programs and services available for gifted students, and (c) examining research findings with respect to education and development of the gifted. We will discuss obstacles to be overcome and proposals for a future agenda regarding educational and psychological provisions for gifted learners in Latin America. This webinar will be presented in Spanish.
