The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children Announces Executive Committee Members 2021 – 2025
The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC®) Executive Committee (EC) has elected four new officers. Denise de Souza Fleith (Brazil) was elected President. Bronwyn MacFarlane (USA), Tracy Riley (New Zealand), and Susan Prior (Australia) were elected by the WCGTC® membership for the open EC positions. The new Executive Committee members will begin their four-year term at the conclusion of the World Conference being held July 31 – August 1 and August 7 – 8.
The WCGTC® EC consists of seven officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three Members-at-Large. Anies al Hroub (Lebanon), Eleonoor van Gerven (The Netherlands), and Margaret Sutherland (Scotland) have two years remaining in each of their terms. Tyler Clark (USA) will continue to serve as Executive Administrator, an ex-officio member of the EC.
