Dr. Ahmed M. Abdulla Alabbasi and Dr. Michelle Ronksley-Pavia have received the Emerging Scholar Award from the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children. They will deliver a keynote panel discussion at the World Conference in Braga entitled Celebrating Excellence in Gifted Education Scholarship: A Discussion with the 2025 Emerging Scholar Awardees.
WCGTC® President, Dr. Denise Fleith said, “Keynote speakers provide excellent opportunities to expand our frontiers by learning and reflecting on what has been researched and experienced in gifted education and talent development worldwide. About the World Conference
The World Conference theme is The Power of Gifted Education and Talent Development in a Changing World. The conference will be hosted in Braga, Portugal from July 29 – August 2, 2025. More than 500 participants from 40 countries are expected to come together to share ideas, network, and present cutting-edge research in the field of gifted studies and talent development.
The conference program will include many concurrent sessions, panel discussions, audiovisual presentations, and keynotes focusing on both research and practice in gifted education, talent development, and creativity.
