2021 in Review

The year 2021, like 2020, has presented new challenges but also new opportunities. See below for some of the highlights of our work together this year. We look forward to making even more progress in 2022! Thank you for all of your support to both the WCGTC® and gifted education around the globe!

First Virtual World Conference

My favorite part of the conference was the network environment, everyone was so engaged in everyone’s work.

“I was able to communicate and get in contact with other members in the Arab countries; we intend to collaborate to gain new insights in teacher preparation and student identification.”

Global Principles for Professional Learning in Gifted Education

When preparing educators to appropriately educate gifted and talented children across the globe, consult these ten principles so we may develop children and young people’s talents and potential to the highest levels

Gifted and Talented International

The contract with Taylor and Francis as publisher was renewed for another five years. View the articles published in 2021 here. The special issue on Research and Practice on Connections Between Talent Development and Big C Creativity or Eminence in Domains will be available soon.

Thank you to our Co-Editors, Associate Editors, and Reviewers for all of their work this year!
